WinGup for Notepad++ is a Generic Updater whose purpose is to provide a ready-to-use and configurable updater that downloads an update package then installs it. The Notepad++ plugin installation may silently fail if the firewall or proxy server is not allowing the outbound connection by WinGup ( gup.exe).
